Understanding Reform: The Case of Poland

The project, conducted as part of an international venture, Understanding Reform, financed by the Global Development Network concerned 'Social and Economic Reforms in Poland'. CASE experts Jacek Kochanowicz, Piotr Kozarzewski and Richard Woodward prepared a report presenting Poland's experiences in the scope of socio-economic reforms during the years 1989 to 2001. In their report, the experts assessed the level of success enjoyed by specific reforms and analyzed factors determining their success.
