Support for Economic Reform in Moldova

Description:

At the request of Moldova's Deputy Prime Minister and then Prime Minister Ion Sturza, CASE with help of the CISR (Center for Strategic Studies and Reforms) organized an expert group to support the government's program of economic reforms. CASE experts worked on public administration and social security reforms, privatization of infrastructure sectors, monetary and fiscal policy and macroeconomic forecasting. The project was financed by the Open Society Institute between 1998-2000, and additionally from the Polish Know How Foundation (in 1999 and 2000).
