Description

Millennium Development Goals (MDG) accepted by the United Nations in 2000 is a set of targets for reducing poverty, hunger, disease, illiteracy, environmental degradation, and discrimination against women by 2015.
Mr. Temur Basilia appointed the MDG Team Leader managed the economic research study assessing the resources and policies required to meet MDG targets in Tajikistan and coordinated policy discussions with Government, ministries and international partners about how to integrate this research into national policy documents as the National Poverty Reduction Strategy and Medium Term Expenditure Framework.
