A comparison of Poland's Socio-Economic Development with the EU-25

 

Description:

The aim of the project is to present the main areas of the social and economic convergence and the comparison of Polish and European Union convergence. Apart from the description of present state of markets, the project will include the analysis of the factors influencing the level of convergence on each of them.

The results will answer the following questions:

  • how large is the development distance of Poland in comparison to EU (25) countries?
  • in what areas these  disproportions diminish/increase?
  • which activities should be done to facilitate and speed up the convergence?
  • what is the impact of European Union funds on the level of convergence?
