Christoph A. Klingen

Christoph A. Klingen is Deputy Chief of the Emerging Europe Regional Division of the IMF's European Department. He joined the IMF in 1995 and has served in the European and Fiscal Affairs Departments, as well as the IMF Institute. He is a national of Germany and holds a doctorate from the University of Basel.

Bas B. Bakker 

Bas B. Bakker, a national of the Netherlands, is the division chief of the Emerging Europe Regional division in the IMF's European Department.  He joined the Fund in 1993, and has worked on both advanced and emerging market countries. He has a PhD in economics from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.

Antonio Borges

Antonio Borges is the Director of the European Department of the International Monetary Fund. Prior to this position he was the Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs International, which he joined in 2000. He is on the Advisory Boards of several European, US corporations, foundations and is Chairman (founding member) of the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI). Dr. Borges is a member of the European Corporate Governance Forum set up by the European Commission to examine best practices in Member States with a view to enhancing the convergence of national corporate governance codes and providing advice to the Commission.

Marek Dabrowski

Marek Dabrowski, Professor of Economics, is President of the CASE. Former First Deputy Minister of Finance (1989-1990) and Member of Parliament (1991-1993). From the end of 1980s he has been involved in policy advising and policy research in a number of international research projects related to monetary and fiscal policies, financial crises, international financial architecture, EU and EMU enlargement, perspectives of European integration, European Neighborhood Policy and political economy of transition. Consultant of the World Bank and UNDP. Dr. Dabrowski is author of several academic and policy papers, and editor of several book publications.
