Chapter I. General provisions.
§ 1
‘CASE – Centre for Social and Economic Research – Scientific Foundation’, hereinafter referred to as the Foundation, was established by the will of the Founders, i.e. the following persons:

The Foundation has legal personality.
§ 2
The Foundation operates within the European Union, including the Republic of Poland, as well as other countries.
In order to perform its statutory tasks, the Foundation may establish branches and divisions in Poland, as well as branches, divisions or representative offices abroad.
§ 3
The seat of the Foundation is the Capital City of Warsaw.
§ 4
The Foundation uses an oblong seal with an inscription indicating its name or abbreviation and seat.
Chapter II. Objectives, means and principles of operation.
§ 5
The objective of the Foundation is to develop knowledge about the economy and to support scientific research in this field.
§ 6
The Foundation pursues its objectives by initiating, organising, financing and implementing:
- research activities in the field of economic sciences, economic and social policy, economic and institutional reforms, and European integration,
- scientific consulting in the field of economic and social policy, as well as economic and institutional reforms,
- dissemination of research results and informational publishing activities, Y1
- conferences and seminars in the areas referred to in point I of this paragraph, in particular for scientists, students, economic policymakers, journalists and public administration employees,
- scholarships and awards for persons conducting scientific and research activities in the field of developing knowledge about the economy and society,
- scientific cooperation in the areas listed in point 1 of this paragraph,
- internships for scientific and economic experts.
§ 7
In order to achieve its objectives, the Foundation may support the activities of other natural and legal persons whose activities are consistent with the statutory objectives of the Foundation.
§ 8
- The Foundation pursues its objectives in accordance with the Act on Foundations and these Statutes.
- Supervision over the Foundation is exercised by the minister responsible for science.
