Transparency in Monetary Policy in EU Accession Countries: Empirical Investigation

The aim of the project, financed by the Global Development Network (GDN) under CERGE-EI research competition was to analyze the importance of transparency for builidng the credibility of monetary policy under different monetary regimes in the context of disinlation policies in EU accession countries. The project was conducted by Lucjan Orlowski, Mariusz Jarmuzek and Artur Radziwill. Preliminary results were presented by Artur Radziwill during the GDN/CERGE-EI Third Annual Regional Research Competition Conference in Prague, Czech Republic, 05-11 August 2003.
