Trade-off between households' demands for declared and undeclared services in Poland



The main purpose of this study is to analyze the trade-off between households' demand for unregistered and registered services in Poland. Specifically, main research aims are:

  •     To verify to what extent the households' demand for undeclared work exists and to compare the results with other findings from the literature;
  •     To estimate what factors influence the households' choices;
  •     To analyze the trade-off between the use of formal and informal services;
  •     To provide short policy implications based on the econometric output.
