Key competences in education in the EU-27

The kick-off meeting for one of CASE’s newest projects, Cross-curricular key competences and teacher education is taking place on Thursday and Friday at CASE. The project is being led by CASE, with the participation of a number of international experts from other European institutions. The team will measure the extent that "key competences for lifelong learning", as defined by the European Parliament in Lisbon in December 2006, are being implemented in primary and secondary schools across the EU-27 countries.
