International Conference on "Economic Reform and Foreign Direct Investment in Transition Economies: Lessons Learned and Prospects for Central Asia"

On January 30-31, 2003 the UNDP Regional Bureau for Europe and CIS and the Center for Economic Research (CER) organized the International Conference on "Economic Reform and Foreign Direct Investment in Transition Economies: Lessons Learned and Prospects for Central Asia" in Tashkent with CASE experts Marek Dabrowski, Roman Mogilevskii and Rafkat Khassanov presenting the comparative experience of transition economies related to the factors influencing an entrepreneurial and investment climate, and tax policy.
