Conference of the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers: 1992-2022 - the best time for Poland

On June 28, 2023, the conference titled "1992-2022: Poland's Best Time" took place in Warsaw. It was organized by the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers (ZPP). The event focused on the economic transformations of the past three decades, the achieved successes, the future of the country's economy, and Polish companies in the European market. Dr. Grzegorz Poniatowski, the Director of Fiscal Policy at CASE, participated in a panel discussing the changes in Poland following the EU accession.

According to experts from the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers, the systemic transformation and accession to the European Union, which entailed joining a vast consumer market, have resulted in the best state of the Polish economy in history. The last three decades have witnessed tremendous economic changes that have led to the dynamic development of Poland. Conference participants discussed the extent of these transformations, the current position of Polish companies in the EU market, and possibilities for further development. The speakers included experts from the Polish Development Fund Group, Leon Koźmiński University, Centre for Eastern Studies, WiseEuropa Institute, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, research centers, and Polish economic entities.
