Łukasz Janikowski


Łukasz Janikowski specializes in fiscal policy, macroeconomics, financial sector analysis and economics of education. Łukasz worked as an economist at CASE and at the National Bank of Poland, and as business analyst at British-American Tobacco, and as a macroeconomic analyst at the analytical center Polityka Insight. He was also an expert of the Polish Accreditation Commission, Vice-President of the Warsaw School of Economics Students’ Union and the Leader of the Education Team in the project Young Reforming Poland.

Łukasz is currently completing his PhD studies at the Collegium of Management and Finance at Warsaw School of Economics. He received his Master and Bachelor degrees in economics from the same University. He is a recipient of several scholarships, including the rector’s scholarship for the best PhD candidates. Even before starting his studies at the Warsaw School of Economics, Łukasz became the laureate of the Olympiad of Economic Knowledge organized by the Polish Economic Society. In addition to his university education, Łukasz completed over 20 professional courses organized by, inter alia, International Monetary Fund, Joint Vienna Institute, National Bank of Poland and the Bank of England.
