CASE led Work Package deliverables on Economic integration, trade, investment and sectoral analyses

Within the MEDPRO - Prospective Analysis for the Mediterranean Region project the third Newsletter has been published on the project website. The newsletter focuses on the research under Work Package 5 (WP5) - Economic integration, trade, investment and sectoral analyses.

Work Package Leader Dr. Luc De Wulf, CASE Fellow, says the rapid population growth experienced in the region gives greater urgency to the adoption of growthpromoting policies so as to create jobs for the unemployed and the new entrants into the labour force. The research undertaken in this WP5 has clearly identified a number of key factors that would positively impact on the economic performance of the region in the period up to 2030 and beyond.

The MEDPRO Newsletter is a bi-annual publication fostering the project’s dissemination by informing the public about the project’s research results, events and publications. The Newsletter maximizes the project’s outreach by being readily available in Arabic, English and French.
