1. Urban Aquafarm in Poland

AquaFarma - the first urban aquaponic farm in Poland, combining the cultivation of edible plants without the use of soil, artificial fertilizers and with minimal water consumption with the cultivation of fish and shellfish - is located vis-à-vis the Hydropolis Ecological Education Center (ul. Na Grobli 14). You're unlikely to get there in slippers yet, but this is just the beginning: a pilot program to test the potential of such a solution. The farm was built as part of the Polish-Norwegian USAGE project. The second such installation is in Oslo.
