Model of the Labour Market at the District Level. Pilot Project in the District and Town of Łomża


An 11-month project entitled Model of the Labour Market at the District Level. Pilot Project in the District and Town of Łomża was carried out under the guidance of Stanisława Golinowska. Artur Radziwiłł, Maciej Sobolewski and Mateusz Walewski participated in the project, financed by the European Commission from the Access 2000 Programme.

The short run prognostic model of the labour market in poviat lomzynski and Lomza handed to the local employment office and the in-depth analysis of the structural characteristics of the local labour market are the main two results of the project. The recommendations for the local authorities have also been prepared on the basis of the results of the analyses and after the range of consultations with local actors. The above pilot project is planned to roll it out across local authorities in other districts.
