JAN TERESIŃSKI


Jan Teresiński is an Economist at CASE. He graduated with distinction from the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Economic Sciences and holds Master’s degree in Economics (specialization: International Economics) and Bachelor’s degree in Economics (specialization: Economics of the Firm). He was awarded Andrzej Semkow prize for the best Master thesis (for the paper: "Comparing business cycles in Poland and Germany – a Bayesian DSGE approach"). He also spent one semester at Universite Libre de Bruxelles as an Erasmus exchange student. His research focuses on macroeconomics, business cycles, monetary and fiscal policy, international trade and SME support. Previously, Jan Teresiński worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs helping in the preparation of Polish position on European Union Multiannual Financial Framework for the years 2014-2020 and for the Ministry of Economy, participating in organizing the events of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Jan speaks Polish (mother tongue), English, French and German.
