CASE once again ranked the best think tank in Central and Eastern Europe!

More than 1,950 experts, journalists and peer institutions took part in the ranking process of “The 2013 Global Go-To Think Tank Index”. The top think tanks were chosen from among 6,826 organizations in 182 countries that were invited to participate. Since 2006, the ranking has aimed to recognize and highlight the important contribution that think tanks make to governments and civil societies around the globe. The Go-To Think Tank Ranking provides information on the trends and challenges faced by think tanks in the globalized world.

This year CASE has been highly ranked in several categories again. Most importantly, we were named the best think tank in Central and Eastern Europe for the second year in a row! Moreover, we were ranked 5th in the world in both the “Top Social Policy Think Tanks” and “Think Tanks with Most Innovative Policy Ideas/Proposals” categories, up from 9th and 11th place respectively.  We also remain number 16 in the “Top Domestic Economic Policy” category and moved to 28th position in the “Top International Economic Policy Think Tanks” category. We are proud that our work is appreciated and deemed important and that CASE's influence in our main research fields, economic and social policy, remains strong.
