Marta Kowerko-Urbańczyk is a Communications Manager at CASE – Center for Social and Economic Research. She is responsible for developing and implementing the institution’s communication strategy, disseminating the results of social and economic research, and coordinating publishing processes. Her work includes preparing CASE publications, developing visual communication, managing media relations, and coordinating dissemination activities such as conferences, seminars, and webinars. Together with the communications team, she co-creates content for the website, social media channels, and newsletters.
Her work focuses on scientific and expert communication, knowledge dissemination, and user-centred content design (UX writing). She prioritises clarity of message, content accessibility, and building dialogue between the research community and the wider public.
Prior to joining CASE, she accumulated over fifteen years of experience across the publishing, academic, and non-governmental sectors. She worked as an editor, journalist, researcher, and PR specialist, collaborating with universities, publishing houses, cultural institutions, and radio broadcasters. She combines editorial expertise with strong communication and strategic skills.
In her free time, she enjoys reading non-fiction, follows research in urban studies and architecture, and exploring cities.
