Lukasz Arendt, PhD, Associate Professor in the Department of Economic Policy at the University of Lodz. He was a Director of the Educational Research Institute in Warsaw (April 2020 – July 2021) and Director of the Institute of Labour and Social Studies (July 2016 – October 2019). Member of the Committee of Labour and Social Policy of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the term 2020-2023, Regional Labour Market Council in Mazowsze Region, for the term 2019-2022, and the Polish Social Policy Society.
Specialist focus on labour market issues and technical change, with special emphasis on labour market polarization, employment forecasting, development of information society and labour market driven changes in educational systems.
Expert in many international and national research projects commissioned by, among others, DG Education and Culture, European Parliament, CEDEFOP, EUROSTAT, EBRD, Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy.
