• privatization, management and deregulation of the state sector;
• employee ownership and industrial democracy;
• private, additional pension systems;
• political economy, in particular: transformation to a liberal market economy and reversing these changes towards authoritarianism
• reforms and systemic changes in the economy
• populism in politics and economy

• President of the Management Board (1991-2004), and since 2006 Vice-Chair of the Foundation Council, CASE,
