CASE – Center for Social and Economic Research, based in Warsaw, is a private, non-commercial, and independent scientific foundation whose mission is to provide objective economic analyses and promote constructive solutions to economic problems. CASE conducts research on policy-making and research and development assistance in the areas of growth and trade, fiscal policy, the labor market, social policy and demography, innovation, sustainable development, and energy and climate policy.

We are currently looking for a communications intern.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supporting the Foundation team’s ongoing communication activities:
Co-creating CASE social media profiles (Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, BlueSky): creating content, creating graphics and videos, running outreach campaigns.
Maintaining the website (WordPress) and newsletter (Mailchimp)
Co-creating content in Polish and English: website publications, posts, newsletter texts.
Assisting in the organization of online, hybrid, and offline events.
Cooperation with the Foundation’s substantive department: economists, social science specialists in order to disseminate their research.

REQUIREMENTS:

Completed bachelor’s degree/master’s degree student (preferred fields of study: economics, social sciences, European studies/international relations, journalism, communication, or PR);
Good writing skills and the ability to create press releases, social media posts, and website content.
Proficiency in social media, experience in content creation welcome.
Proficiency in MS Office, ability to work in the cloud.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
Excellent knowledge of Polish, knowledge of English at a minimum B2 level, both spoken and written.
Independence, excellent work organization.
Openness to new tasks and ability to quickly acquire knowledge.
Desirable: ability to create and edit video content.

Full-time equivalent salary in the range of PLN 4,806 – 6,000 gross/month

The data controller is CASE – Center for Social and Economic Research – Scientific Foundation (“CASE”; address: ul. L. Zamenhofa 5 lok. 1B, 00-165 Warsaw).
