A press conference featuring Aleksandra Kolasa, Senior Economist at CASE and co-author of the report ‘The Cost of Lost Potential: An Economic Analysis of the Foster Care System’, commissioned by the Good Initiatives Foundation, will take place:
13 April (Monday), 2.00 pm
at the headquarters of PAP Polish Press Agency,
at 6/8 Bracka Street, Warsaw.
The report focuses on the economic aspects of support within the foster care system in Poland, in particular on the level of financial benefits and the situation of those leaving the system. The study analyses the scale of public expenditure, the costs of potential reforms and the long-term consequences of insufficient support, including the lost economic benefits resulting from the untapped potential of young adults.
The report will be made available during the conference, in both print and online formats.
The conference will be streamed online on PAP MediaRoom.
