We are pleased to invite you to the 174th mBank–CASE seminar titled “How to overcome the energy crisis in Poland?”. The event will take place on the Thursday, 22nd of September 2022 from 3.00pm to 4.30pm. The seminar will be held online only.
The energy crisis caused by the Russia-triggered war may lead to an economic crisis in Poland. Due to the lack of a viable energy strategy and a low level of investment in transmission networks and new generation capacities, the Polish electricity sector is in a particularly critical situation. The sector requires urgent anti-crisis measures, which must be well embedded in the construction of an efficient energy system based on modern, distributed grids and emission-free generation sources.
The speakers will present a comprehensive and viable action plan for building a modern power system in Poland.
