Dr.  Turgut’s areas of expertise are fiscal policy, macroeconomic modeling, and econometrics.

His research areas include government spending policy with a focus on public investments, tax policy, monetary policy, and production networks.

Prior to joining CASE, Dr. Turgut worked as a researcher in the EXPECT project funded by the National Science Centre.

Dr. Turgut obtained his PhD in Economics and Finance from the Luigi Bocconi University. He holds an MA in Economics from the University of Warsaw.
