The services will involve the collection of economic information, econometric estimations, macro and micro-economic analysis and modelling, as well as case studies. Support may also be requested to review some of DG TAXUD’s outputs, including the annual report on taxation, and to help identify research and researchers for DG TAXUD events. The economic analysis required should be grounded in the existing economic literature. It will generally involve modelling based on reliable economic data and supported by studies and comparative analysis in various tax areas. The contractor must therefore ensure the availability of a relevant and high-quality modelling framework, based on extensive, accurate, reliable, and up-to date information, and used with a high level of expertise.

The exact topics to be covered, and the delivery date of the studies and analyses, are determined by the Contracting authority following a request for specific contract sent to the contractor.
