Annual report

At CASE, 2024 was marked by significant strategic and organisational changes. CASE embarked on a quest to improve its presence in the national policy debate, while continuing to focus on its portfolio of project. There were also important changes in the structure of CASE. The Management Board now has two members: Jan Hagemejer and Marek Peda replacing the previous board of Izabela Marcinkowska, Agnieszka Kulesa and Jan Hagemejer. The smaller Management Board is now assisted by a stronger team of thematic directors.

As CASE continues to evolve, our commitment to research-based policymaking remains steadfast, driving meaningful discussions and providing rigorous analysis across fiscal policies, trade and macroeconomics, sustainable development, and labour and social policy.

2024 was an exceptional year for project activity. CASE was involved in 42 diverse projects, spanning critical areas such as sustainability, labour market policies, migration strategies, and economic resilience in Eastern Europe. These initiatives reinforce our mission of producing research that informs policy debates and sup-ports effective decision-making.
