Latest publication within the ANCIEN project released

In their new publication within the ANCIEN project, Stanislawa Golinowska and Agnieszka Sowa tackle the issue of health status in Poland, focusing on the problem of morbidity and disability, which emerge as one of the major challenges for social and health policy in the coming few decades. The topic of this publication becomes especially valid in the context of the recent political decision to increase the retirement age in Poland.
In their paper the authors provide an overview of the available data, comparing them and explaining contradictions and ambiguities. They present the changes in the level of functional and legal disability and try to explain the reasons for such trends.
