FEMISE Annual Conference 2012: “Inclusive development in the South-Med Countries and the Role of the EU-MED Partnership”

The FEMISE annual conference 2012 took place in Marrakech November 23-24 and it gathered representatives of all the member institutions of the Forum Euro-Mediterranean des Instituts de Sciences Economiques. The main topics discussed were the challenges faced by the countries that went through the “Arab Spring”, the need for the so-called “Inclusive Growth”, and the role of the international community towards achieving these goals.The conference gave a chance to involve the FEMISE members and academics in a constructive dialogue on those issues. Parallel to the plenary sessions the General Assembly and the sessions for the members of the network took place.
CASE was represented by Chief of Operations Elena Diaconu and CASE expert Krzysztof Szczygielski, who gave a presentation on the research conducted within the project “Does Government Support for Innovation Matter? The Effectiveness of Public Support for Private Innovation” financed by FEMISE grant.
