CASE 30th Anniversary Conference

The CASE 30th Anniversary Conference “Looking Back to Look Forward: The Future of the EU Economy” was held in Warsaw and online on September 23-24.

For its anniversary, CASE invited international scholars, policymakers, and the business community to discuss lessons learned over the past 30 years and the future challenges for the European Union and Poland specifically. Taking a comparative perspective, the Conference not only surveyed the landscape which has changed dramatically over CASE’s lifespan (and with CASE’s assistance), but also derived practical, action-oriented, and tangible policy lessons for Europe.

The Conference featured two keynote speeches and five sessions with 24 speakers. The event attracted approximately 300 guests from Europe, USA and Asia.

The Conference was organized under the patronage of the European Commission, the Mayor of Warsaw, and the World Bank. Media patrons for the Conference included Rzeczpospolita, Emerging Europe, and Euractiv.pl.

The speakers presentations and the conference videos will be available on our website soon.
