About the seminar:

Catalonia is one of the richest regions in Spain. Until the outbreak of the international financial and economic crisis in 2008 it enjoyed a phenomenal economic boom which then turned into a very severe depression from which it only started exiting in 2015. Consolidating the recovery and making the economy more competitive and resilient and less volatile is one of the key challenges of economic policy in Catalonia. Also, in order to improve the levels of social cohesion of the country, policymakers should make sure that economic prosperity is more widely shared and transform it into effective social progress.

The seminar will be held in English.
